I recognize the potential in each one of my students. With my customizable approach, I’ve seen my Denton area students’ self-esteem and skill-set consistently rise. I love what I do and it makes me happy to be able to share my passion with others. Since working as a private teacher in 2008, my students learn to play and enjoy music. As a mother of 3 grown daughers I know children. I also teach adults, some of whom had not touched a piano since childhood. I am a patient, adaptable, and professional teacher ready to help you reach your goals. Where do you hold your lessons?
I teach in the studio building located behind my house at 6110 Canyon Road, Sanger, TX 76266. Please pull down the driveway to the parking area next to the grey building.
Do you have specific teaching qualifications?
A lifelong pianist, I hold a science degree in Speech Pathology.  I am well versed in childhood development, as well as piano technique and literature.
What is the teaching calendar?
I follow the Denton School District calendar for major holidays.
How much do you charge for your teaching services?
Lessons are billed on a tuition schedule.  Sibling discounts are available. Please contact me for pricing details.
Do you provide performance opportunities?
I provide at least two recital opportunities per year, one in the late Fall and another in the Spring.

Making Learning More Enjoyable
Piano Lessons
I know how difficult it can be to find a reliable piano teacher. Teachers need to be able to motivate and guide students towards success. As an experienced and passionate teacher, I believe in an approach that gives students positive, constructive ways to learn. I design my lessons to build essential skills, encourage exploration, and create a lifelong love of music.
Ukelele Lessons
Some students want to have a portable musical instrument. Ukulele is great! Small, lightweight, and with a quick learning curve makes ukulele a great start in music. Students learn to chord and accompany songs, quickly building skills to play both folk and popular songs.
Preschool Prodigies
PreSchool Prodigies is an early childhood music program using high quality desk bells, easy for little hands to use. The clear tone and pitch of the bells builds the sense of pitch while teaching concepts such as scale degrees, chords, and rhythm.  Using interactive video and one on one teaching, younger children get a great foundation for any later musical study.
